I am also a jewelry artist specializing in sterling silver gemstone designs. I carry in store a huge selection of my own work and can do custom orders with 2 weeks notice. We offer in store watch battery replacements, and some jewelry repairs.

Before founding My Own Collection, Felice spent her summers as a tree planter in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. During the off-season, she followed her passion for travel, exploring vibrant cultures and discovering unique handmade goods from around the world. It was a fulfilling lifestyle, combining hard work with adventure.
In 2008, Felice took a leap. Inspired by the amazing jewelry, textiles, and treasures she had encountered abroad — especially in India — she decided to bring those finds home to share with others. What started as a personal journey quickly grew into a business built on connection, creativity, and curiosity.
She began by selling her curated collection at music festivals across northern BC. The response was immediate: people were craving something different — something that wasn’t mass-produced or cookie-cutter. Especially in smaller communities, shoppers were thrilled to discover original styles that reflected their own unique tastes.
As someone living in a small town herself, Felice understood that frustration all too well — the desire to support local, while struggling to find items that truly resonate. That’s why she committed to creating a shop for people who want fashion, jewelry, and home décor that stands apart. Pieces with personality. Quality goods with a story.
After many summers on the road in her trusty 1973 Ford Econoline van, Felice opened a permanent storefront in the heart of Quesnel, BC. Located on Reid Street in the downtown core, My Own Collection is now a year-round hub for handcrafted, meaningful items from around the world.
Today, the shop has expanded well beyond clothing and décor. We’re proud to offer an extensive collection of gemstones, crystals, and jewelry-grade stones — as well as rough specimens for collectors and creators alike.
At the back of the store, you’ll find our jewelry-making wonderland: stocked with glass, stone, and seed beads, specialty wires, tools, and everything you need to bring your designs to life. Felice also teaches wire-working classes, helping others develop their skills and creativity in a warm, supportive environment.
